Inside door handle pull and door latch rod connection help!!!

OK, I didn't pay enough attention when I took these parts off the door.
Please see the pictures.
I removed the inner door handle mechanism and the rod going to the door latch.
The rod fits into the hole coming off the back. The is a groove at the bottom of the right angle. Is there a clip that goes on the groove?
I need to pay more attention...I know

Yup...Door handle rod clip ...slides over and retains the rod.
