This is a picture I took of my first Moper. It is also the only picture I have left. I did have several of me with a girlfriend or two, pics of me with buddies and there was one with me lined up next to a Chevelle at a light in Cincinnati taken by an ex girlfriend. I was a wee lad and bought this car for, I think $650.00 in the fall of 1972. 1968 Charger. This is the first day out front of my mom and Dads's house. White car, black roof and saddle interior. I don't think I have ever seen one just like it and it was an air car.  This pic is before the cragers, headers, stereo, cam and carb. But, I kept all the original parts in boxes!

I need another one!! How about you guys. What was you first MOPAR and what did you pay for it?

Technically my first Mopar was a 72 Dodge Dart Swinger.. slant-6/225.

This is the one I wish I still had.. bought this 70 Charger 500/383 1988-89? This also is one of very few photos. Think I paid $4500?

DeathProofCuda

71 Barracuda 318 automatic, purchased in 1987 for $2,500 (minus the wheels and tires)

My first car was a Mopar. It was a 1971 Dodge Demon with the all powerful slant 6, and 3 "on the tree" manual. I think I bought it in 1982 for around $200-300, which was summer job money.

CNUMB

Sold my Yamaha 650 Midnight special for my first car, a 1974 Challenger, purchased it in Dec 0f 1975 for $ 1800.00 Do not have many pics left either.

Bought my 70 RR 383 4 speed from my cousin who bought it new in the fall of 69. It was a high school graduation present to myself and I paid $1100 for it in 1972.

1970 with the mighty leaning tower of power slant 6 225. 47,000 miles and as bare boned as they came (almost). Auto on the column, non AC, sport mirrors and bubble hood and rallye wheels  added later. Not much on the grand scale of E bodies, but the memories of being 18 and having this car were amazing. Got her after my Senior year in HS, 1979. I couldn't have cared less that zero to 60 was measured in postage stamps. I'd kill to have kept it in storage.

First Mopar (1973 Plymouth Barracuda) purchased in April of 1975 for $2500.00. It's now going thru a significant transformation.

My first Mopar was a 1970 Plymouth RoadRunner, lemon twist, 440, pistol grip.  I put the standard engine upgrades on it. The car came with 2 big "Hooker Headers" decals on the front fenders behind the wheels. Heck I was a junior in high school. I paid $1200. I know the some of fathers of the girls I dated did not like me.

FF376

1974 Barracuda. 318,auto on the column and a/c. One repaint but completely stock. Paid $3000 for it in 1992. Drove it through high school and sold it to a friend in '96 to finance my A66 Challenger that I still have...

Haha! Mine was  Dodge Colt. The only 4 speed I've ever owned. It was red. It would be kind of fun to find one and turn it into a sleeper.
