Are the brake and clutch pedals supposed to be the same height?  It looks like our brake pedal is about 2" in compared to the clutch pedal.  This car was originally an automatic and we converted it to a 4 speed.  We had 2 different pedal assemblies.  I mixed and matched parts from both and got a clutch pedal from Brewers.  Now that the clutch and brakes are both fully installed I noticed that the brake pedal is not as far out as the clutch pedal.  It is possible that I have incorrect linkages in the brake pedal???

I think that's normal (see photo from FEBO attached below), but I don't have the deepest experience on this issue.

I don't know if they are supposed to be equal height, but I think if you are doing heel/toe work with agressive driving or on the track, having the brake pedal a little lower would be advantageous. But I've never purposely set them up that way in other cars.  I'm converting my Cuda to a manual and will be interested to see where they fall.  I don't know that I have all the right parts but I'll make them work.

2 inches seems a bit much but I think mine was the same. I'll look for photos of the U-code.

Not sure why that would be "normal". Mine are the same height. If you mixed parts I think you may have the wrong brake pedal linkage...

Power brakes? You might also check the adjustment of the pin between the booster and master cylinder. There is a small amount of adjustment you can do there, just make sure you do it for the right reasons otherwise you will create other problems

We also changed from a drum brake front to disc brakes on the front.
