Remove chrome knobs from heater control ?

Heater control wasn't working as smoothly as it should so while gauges are out decided to work on it also. How do you remove the chrome knobs so the levers can be taken out ?

They are retained by a spring clip on the back side... Use a pick tool with a 90 degree bend to depress the lock tab... It's either top or bottom, been years I don't recall but a few seconds poking around & you'll know...

DO NOT remove the knobs....remove the center pin from the levers the pull the complete lever out the front. :alan2cents:
