I am pretty sure that I can just remove the current seat covers, foam and tracks and then use just the metal seat frames and bolt my correct '71 e-body tracks to them and use my '71 foam and buy some '71 covers.  I am not really concerned about the correctness of the release button (color or size).  What I would like to know is if I purchase Challenger seat covers, will the foam that I have not fill out the Challenger seat covers or will they fill them out too much?  Has anyone else done this already?  I am just not a fan of the standard '71 Cuda seat covers.

I don't believe the STANDARD interior '71 'cuda foam will work very well with any of the '70-'71 Challenger covers

what foam is under those "aftermarket" upholstery shop covers? you might get lucky!!  :takealook:
