I'm restoring my seats and the previous owner had the seat tracks installed over the top of the carpet.  Are they supposed to go under the carpet? When looking online I see 70 and 71's under the carpet.   I have a 73 Cuda and Im not certain I can use the current carpet and install the seat tracks under the carpet.

@Burdar you copy?  Haven't heard from you in a while.

Thanks,

Neil

Perhaps the brackets were covered, but not the tracks?

On top of carpet is correct.

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking, I guess I just looked at too many pictures online late last night.  My seat tracks are a little rusty so I'm going to have to dig down deep and get some elbow grease out and clean these suckers up.  Thanks

PS I know I don't have a lot of common sense but at least I know that much about myself.
