Are they all the same 70 to 74?

The inner track stopped having the locking lever and that cable that joined the two.

Here's a picture of 1970 only seat tracks showing the cable connecting the two halves.

Continuing to learn and asking as my '71 has the inside track locking tab and connecting cable . . . when did this change happen and how did the new setup work?

72 I think.  Maybe 73.  My 73 only has the lock on the outside track.  The inside track can freely move all the time.

When I parted out a 1972 Challenger its seat tracks only locked on the one side. I know this because the passenger side of my car has the one from that Challenger.
