Has anyone recently had any interior parts 'chromed' via vacuum chrome metalizing?  If so, who did you use?

I found m & m metalizing but have no idea how good there services are.

Thank you.  Any leads and knowledge appreciated.

I have not (yet) used them myself but GCAR comes up often recommended on the forums.

Thank you for the info.  I'll contact them and see where things go.

I have had four 69-70 B-Body and two 69-71 A-Body dash cluster assemblies done by Vacuum Orna-Metal.  Prices have been very fair for the quality of work and the turn around time.  Most of the jobs have been around ten weeks out.  I know that some of the other shops are over a year out.  They do not do rebuilds of the instruments, just the restoration of the plastic housing.  Steve is the contact person for the automotive side of the plating business.

I have tried to get them to set up a booth in our spaces at Carlisle as they offer a valuable service to restoration industry.  But like most businesses that offers a good service, they have a tough time getting out of the shop.
