Which coat ook to use

Have worked out that I should use the smaller shoulder belt clips.

But which Coat Hook ?

Having trouble fitting the quarter glass whiskers, have shaped off one clip already, any tricks . Have filed the holes a bit, do I file more ?
Was thinking of drilling a hole at the broken clip and maybe using a rivet ? a screw head be too large as screw shank would need to be 3/8.
