Who made factory seat covers

I was gutting some 70 challenger bucket seats for the seat latches and frames. It was cool seeing all the markings,  date stamps from being made. What I didn't expect to find was a UNIROYAL stamp. Did UNIROYAL make or supply material for seat overs?
