Since I've bought my car the passenger and drivers side windows don't roll all the way down. They stop with about 1 1/2-2" above being flush. I took the door skin off and they aren't hitting anything that i can see, anyone had this issue or know how to correct it? Thanks in advanced

My first guess would be that you have Cuda regulators in a Challenger door.....Can you post a picture with the door panel off in the area of the window crank ?
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Not sure about the "ski" but just check the length of the shaft to make sure you have the correct regulator first...

Your having this issue on both doors? As alan said it does look like the proper regulator. With the windows are rolled as far down as they will go. Look in the bottom of the door to see if the glass is sitting on the rubber stop. The gap between the bottom of the door and window should be about one inch, if not. Something may have been installed improperly on both doors or they may have the wrong parts inside. good luck and let us know how you made out.

Yea...I'm out to lunch on this one without seeing the car...I wonder if it's possible to actually mount the right regulator in the left door and vise versa

Alan my car has been sitting apart for a very long time  I will run down to the garage to see if that can be done. I'm very talented a putting something together all wrong and make it work. We can rule out  the regulators in the wrong door, it cannot be done. there must be something physically blocking the window. What is the most puzzling is that its both doors

Plumcrazy72

Yea it's both doors, it sits off the rubber stops as much as sticks out above the door.

Roll up the window, remove the rubber stop and see if the window comes down to the correct spot then look at the distance under the window to the bottom of the door (inside). You may have either the wrong stops, they are not installed correctly or something is in the door channel preventing the window from going all the way down. Since it's both windows I am going to guess wrong stops (perhaps someone made something and installed them). Whatever it is, its the same on both sides so that would indicate someone did something the same.
Mopar or no car!!!

It doesn't come down to the rubber stops now. It stops roughly 1 1/2" above the rubber stops

I don't know much about the internal works, but in winding down the window, does the gear reach the end of travel and can't go anymore?  If so, may be an improperly installed gear.  Just my thoughts.

I have the door skin back on, but from what I remember the gear hasn't reach end of travel by the time the window stops
