Looking good! Did you drop it in from the top with the headers on? Or did you set the headers loosely in place then drop the motor in?
I left the headers off and put the passenger side motor mount on first so the drivers side could be lifted so I could slip the header on then put the passenger side motor mount on. The passenger side header I left off for ease putting the transmission in and will put the passenger side header next. I got the transmission bracket modified and have a couple of pictures to show how much it is extended. Once it is painted black I will post pictures of it installed on my Challenger.

Amazing, I have the TTI shorties that hung the block, and there is absolutely no way those are going on or off with the motor in the car.
I also hope that alternator never goes bad, the way that mounts, motor will have to come out, or at least lifted quite a bit.

I know the Borgeson power steering unit is smaller than stock, that might be a solution to the tight fit??

Ha, not hardly
I have the Borgeson box, and still had to dent the header.
I only have fractions of an inch clearance, but I just can't bring myself to pull and put the motor back in for the 5th time.......

Looks good!    I wonder how many sets of headers they had come in, and how many were backordered.   Still no word on my headers that were ordered in mid-August

My headers arrived yesterday!!

You will be happy with them and the passenger side on my 1973 challenger goes in with the motor bolted in.
1971 Challenger RT 340 auto 1 of 731
1973 Challenger Rallye 392 Hemi A41 4 speed automatic
2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack 392 Hemi auto

Good to know.

Being that this is a full re-creation and the car is a bare unibody with all fresh metal, I'll probably assemble the K and suspension, engine and trans, and drop the car down over top of everything when the time comes.

My next steps are to finish buying the pieces for the engine and trans so I can mock up the drivetrain, route my wires, figure out where to mount the PCM, etc. then tear it all down for final paint/body before going on to final assembly
