Floyd - Here's a picture of my '73 Barracuda, that I bought new in 1973.  The picture was taken in Pensacola in 1974 while I was in flight school.  I kept this car until 1980 and still regret selling it.  It might still be somewhere on Oahu as that is where it was sold.

lallamon - I lived in your area for about 20 years before moving to Pensacola this year.  I am surprised that I haven't seen your car at any of the local car shows.  Do you take it to car shows or cruise ins?

Mrwp, that is very strange of us passing so close in our lives, and never once actually talked with each other. I left Pensacola in '71 and headed for NAS Jacksonville and Mayport Fla. for my ship the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt CVA-42. I saw my first new Plum crazy, 440BB, SE '70 Challenger, I believe late '69 or early '71 at Hill-Kelly Dodge in Pensacola. To bad I was headed for sea, Huh! Naw, to expensive for me, had to wait until I got back home. You living here in Riverside 1984-late 90's astounding. You might have seen my Slant6 '70 Challenger at Tuxies drive-in here in Riverside, where all the muscle car hot Rodders have been meeting since the early 50's. We might have passed each other and not even known it. Funny how things work.   Al

Floyd - Unfortunately by the time I got to Riverside in 1984, both of my cars (73 Barracuda/70 'Cuda) were both gone and I was not into the car scene there.  I was more into the "raising the kids" scene while in California.    So that explains why we never crossed paths.  It wasn't until we moved to Florida and my kids were in college before I was able to get back into the car scene.  Although in California I did tool around in my silver 1980 Plymouth Arrow 1.6 and later a red 1977 Datsun 280Z.  Those were two fun cars to drive.  But I am a Mopar guy at heart so I had to have another 'Cuda.  Attached are pics of my 73 and 70 back in Ohio (wintertime) while I was on Okinawa.  Along with later pics of the Arrow and 280Z.

   Welcome to the site from Buffalo, NY.   Glad to have your here.

FC7 70 Challenger here.

Had an '81 Datsun 280-ZX 2+2 for a bit... loved that car, but child seats didn't fit too great in the back so I traded it in for a more "family appropriate" car not long after I got married.
