 welcome  to E-bodies!!  AWESOME R/T!!  UNIQUE!!! WOW!!! I LIKE IT!!

it appears the 723 & 730 "Scheduled Production Date" cars were all end of year build outs & there are no SPDs used between them.

interesting that it looks to be a Company Car "spec'd" for the Cincinnati Region but has no ship to dealer or employee name (maybe a different purpose?), WAG  :notsure: someone promoted & moving from Detroit to Cincinnati or Chrysler didn't know which dealership it was to be shipped to at the time 7/18/70 the window sticker was printed???

got a broadcast sheet you can post or a picture of the door tag?

now the CRAZY sH!t  :unbelievable:

JS23N0B443433's VON = 098131 Company Car Cincinnati Region
JS23R0B376234's VON = 098151 FE5 N94 (T/A hooded HEMI) - raced by dealership service writer out of Indiana/Illinois
JS29N0B339409's VON = 098182 DY3 V1G (Rev's old R/T SE??) well OPTIONED

I'd bet these 3 Challenger R/Ts were all "Company Cars" in some respect when new

Walk me through this...  are you thinking that the order pad (VON) numbers used on those cars was something or some place special?  Doesn't seem like a dealership would use the order pad out of order like that?   :notsure:  Was it an internal pad that was used for odd or special ordered cars?

those are the only "0981xx" Challenger VONs I have any info on & each car is "non-typical" & a "company car" would seem an appropriate starting point for them
I understand cars travel but with the VONs so close, the paperwork had to start a lot closer together than OH, IN & GA

another possibility for the OP's FY1 R/T would be some sort of promotional use, but the OPTION list doesn't support a give-away type vehicle (white interior/4-speed/no-console/3.55s/6-way/air conditioning/rocker mouldings) I feel that combination is owner driven.  the lack of any "Y" codes on the window sticker raises more questions than answers.

the only other "098xxx" Challengers I have are a quantity of T/As with 331/406/410 SPDs (098300s & 098500s)

at this point I am "ASSUMING" the 1,000 Challenger order forms with 098000-098999 VONs resided in-house at Dodge (& hundreds went unused)

I think it's a HUGE clue from an otherwise unassuming original window sticker  :lookatthat:

It is not the best picture and this was taken right before it was removed.  I have a replacement sticker from ECS.

The original owner lives in Michigan and he has provided me with a lot a documentation.  It was sold through The Bob Banner Dodge dealership in Maryland.

do you have a broadcast sheet?  did he work for Chrysler? was it a new car when he took delivery?

Bob Banning Dodge?

I am afraid that I only have the Fender Tags and the Moroni Sheet.  Wouldn't the Moroni Sheet be sufficient?

Yes, the owner work for Chrysler. According to Pete, the car sat in the back lot until December of 70. It was used by the Dealer for certain errands but I don't know to what extend. Must have been fun!
