1969-74 Mopar Group 24 (Green Cap) battery

   I have a NEW-ish acid battery that they have not made in a few years. The Reason I say NEW-ish is due to the fact that until a few months ago it had never had Acid or Distilled water added to it and it sat dry for several years. When I attempted to put it into service and charge it, I noticed the battery had a small pinhole  and hairline crack on the one side and when the battery heated up during the charging cycle they opened up and it leaked very slowly. I drained all the acid/distilled water mix and flushed it out.
  So if someone wants to fix the issues or just use it for show purposes only I will sell it for $40.00...here's the catch You must pick it up..... I will not ship it, it would cost more than I'm asking for the battery. Pick up is in Mogadore, Ohio 44260...about 1 1/2 miles from Summit Racing.

I am not looking to gouge anyone just hoping to help someone out that could use it.
