This seems pretty expensive for a set that needs to have the leather replaced. It does not appear to be a 6 way track. Is there any difference between these and a standard set of seats? Could someone simply recover standard seats with leather covers?

YES...that is ridiculous  :drunk:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

That's nuts.   :Thud:  The frames are the same so why would anyone spend that kinda money on seat frames?  You have to recover them anyway, so what am I missing?   :drunk:

Wow, that's nuts! I have a pair of front seats here if anyone needs them?

Cuda Cody

:clapping:  Bucket seats are still pretty hard to find.

Just not $1,000+ hard.  The side hinge covers and seat rails, but still hard to get up to that price.   :Thud:

I'm not sure what year they are? I bought plastic hinge covers and they didn't fit? I suspected they were 73-74 but don't know for sure? Tracks are on them still. They would be just for cores , they are covered with black vinyl but not stock.  Shipping would be insane as I'm in Canada.....

MoparDave

spendy for sure, but some one will take them if they have to have them now.

Yes shipping would be nuts I was thinking about Carlisle if you were going. I have a line on a local set. I just need to catch up with the guy eventually.

Mine? soft back but hard to say as someone had them upholstered all in vinyl  ? Has the seat belt shoulder harness thing as well, but that could have been added? No idea really? I found quite a few 73-74 parts on my car so I suspect someone before me had a 74 parts car when building mine? I was under the impression the frames were all the same so these would be useful as  cores? :dunno:

I have 2 sets of correct 70 Bucket seats with the correct 70 seat back release brackets. No E body seat brackets though.

1 set are from a 70 Road Runner and another set from something other than a Road Runner, possibly Challenger or Charger.  The Road Runner seats are pretty rough looking and need foam and covers.  The springs and frames are solid.   Black.

The other set is presentable and very usable as is but has a couple of small seam splits ... very nice otherwise.  Black.

Parts are in Illinois.  I can meet in Salem IL area or Mascoutah, IL area (STL Metro area)

$550 for the 70 RR seats

Haven't decided on price for the other set yet.  I'll probably put an ad up soon.  I also have a set of 72 seats for A/B body.

RUNCHARGER

I recently sold a nice set needing upholstery for $300.

I've never seen 72 and up front seats apart.

Can they be converted to 70-71?

Cuda Cody

The way the hinges attach are different on the 1970 (and early 71) vs the later 1971 and up.  Not sure if they retain the same mounting holes.  But I'm sure anything is possible if you wanted to make them work.  Or Brad can machine them in to discs brakes, spindles or anything else you might want.   :bigthumb:  He can pretty make anything!  :drinkingbud:
