NOS Mopar Performance R3 340 Race Block in original box and pallet.

Mopar P/N P4876795
Standard Deck 9.56 Nom with 8.9 Min
Rough bored @ 3.905 with a 4.080 max overbore possible
Non-Siamese
59 Degree Tappet Angle
340 Journals
2 Bolt drilled with provisions for 4 bolt

This is a late 1990s R3 High Nickel T/A "Resto" block I have been holding on to for awhile.
I have it on a pallet and can help coordinate freight shipping through SAIA etc. on my end.
Buyer pays shipping. I am in Monterey, CA.

Pretty much the ulimate small block casting , you can drill for 6 bolts / cylinder & use W8 or W9 heads & make 800 hp

Thank you. Not that it matters I was just curious if they actually said 340 on them. Looks like that's a no.

Not same

Yes stronger in all ways... also heavier

Don't know why max bore is 4.08. Was there another non-siamese with bigger bore range?

I'm pretty sure I've read of these going 4.125  or a little less. I could be thinking of the Ritter block though.  But 4.08 is only a .040 over 340 so I would hope there is more meat in there than that.  I'd love to have one but I'm holding out for someone to do an aluminum smallblock.    :ohyeah: :takemymoney:
