Hey guys,

I have the Thermoquad that came on my 71 Challenger when I purchased it a few years ago.  It ran ok but I went a different route with the build and don't need it any longer.  Just thinning out the heard a little.  Not sure if it's a 71 or not if you need me to get any #'s off of it that aren't in the pics let me know.  I'm in Florida.  Make me an offer.  I'm thinking $50.00 plus $20.00 for shipping.  Let me know if anyone is interested.

Real 1971's can be BIG dollars as they are a rare one year only carb.  I think I've seen Scott pay crazy money for cores (around $500 if I recall).  Look up the number first.  Or post it here and we'll tell you what it's fits.

We also need to put a price on it as we're trying to stick to the forum rules.  Best to start with an asking price and be open to offers.  What's the number in the side of it?

Here are some #'s that I got off of the carb:

0078S

2256

There is also either an 39 or X9 on the side.  It looks like an X to me.

"made in the USA" is a more modern term isn't it? they wouldn't have used it back then I don't believe

Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

If it is, a 9078 Thermoquad I would guess about $40 or $50?    :dunno:
