*SOLD*This is a super clean variable speed wiper motor that fits 70-71 Cuda Challenger.
It has a good 1170 date.
This motor has been tested and works fine.
Comes with correct 70-71 wiper linkage crank arm 2822289.
$275.00 for both plus actual shipping from 13622 NY.
Crank arms go for $100.00 by themselves in places.
If crank arm is not needed I will sell just the motor for $225.00
Thanks for the ad e-bodies

Do you need a different switch for the 3 speed motors?
Yes, 70 & 71 typically use a variable speed 2770380 switch. If converting from a 2 speed you'll also need link 2822293. I've done this swap.

So not the part on this motor, 2822289?
That throws a wrinkle

mccannix

The crank arm on the motor is correct.
What he means is you need a piece of linkage, the arm so to speak
which has a cast number of 2822293 and is correct for three speed set-ups

What Terry said, sorry if I was a bit vague
Motor 3431077
Crank 2822289
Link 2822293
Switch 2770380
Those are the basics. You can still use the manual washer pump or convert to electric anytime later.

1971 B-bodies used 3431077 wiper motor as well as 70-71 E-bodies.
The 3431102 varaible speed arm in the 71 B-body application, when comparing to the 2822293 varaiable speed arm in the 70-71 E-body other than a minor contour,  is virtually the same.
Same brass fittings used in both, same length, same bends, etc
Just saying you can use a 71 B-body varaible speed arm 102 as well to convert 2 speed to 3 speed in E-bodies.

Awesome looking piece. Same date as, many parts on my May built challenger . Is it still available? How much for us Canadians and is pick up possible from Gananoque?

mccannix

@RJChallenger

Pick up is no problem.....or can be delivered to Moparfest.

Pm me for more info if you like.

Would it be possible to get a picture of the 102 link on top of the 293 link with a bolt/stud through the bushings? That'll give a better idea of their similarity. I'm really curious how that 102 will work in an ebody.

John
Unfortunately I dont have the 3431102 arm anymore.
I sent it with the wiper motor to Rod.
I had it on top of the 2822293, never put a bolt through or anything but both brass bushings lined up on each end
with each other.

Jay Bee

Thanks Terry, no problem. Just thought I'd try and catch you before they shipped out.
