My buddy Mike is in need of a rallye speedometer. Poor guy bought( paid large for it) a rallye gauge set up installed it and the speedometer bit the dust. The needle fell off/broke .
After researching the reviews on the repops not sure what way to go? Anyone have a good used one?
Thanks Brad

Isn't that caused by a hanging cable?

First think I asked was about the cable but he said it's brand new.

If it's an original that's been spruced up, but not taken apart, it's not uncommon for the needles to break off.  Either because of an older speedometer cable or the guts of the speedometer have dried out and the mechanism starts jerking/bouncing the needle.

I have one here I can lend you to try out — will be up in your neck of the woods as of next Friday
