70-71 HEMI valve covers

Looking for a set of wrinkle black factory style valve covers for my customers motor.

I think they still repro them but of course they aren't as nice as factory. I built the last two sets I used from 66-69 covers and wedge covers for parts.

Yep, there should be still repro ones available.

As Sheldon mentioned that can be fixed with a donor wedge valve cover.... A couple hole saws & some silver solder....  Do a clean job & the texture of the wrinkle finish will hide minor flaws...

If I'm not mistaken, the factory covers are a thicker gauge than the reproductions, right?

Correct and the crisp line running front to back under the plug holes is too crisp in the thin covers.
