What color, wood grain or red inserts, and what is your budget? O and good luck!   :alan2cents:

The wood grain is going to be the part hard to find in good shape. I know a guy that had some red ones. He may still have them. I have some wood grain ones.

I have manual windows.

I guess I don't know which color inserts I should have for a 70? Anyone know?

I think the red one were for the houndstooth interior. Wood grain for all the rest.

My car came with white leather. So sounds like the wood grain inserts are needed?

The problem is finding a set of nice WHITE door panels that are also Gran Coupe. White did not fair too well. The plastic did not like heat. I have been buying Barracudas since 74 and even cars that were stored inside down here in Texas, always had bad door panels, other than black. My AAR has white door panels and I removed them and put in some ones that I covered with vinyl. I still have my old ones and they are fair but not really sellable. I've got a 73 project car I'm going to put them in to sell. My best advise is to buy brand new ones and just buy the wood grain inserts. New door panels  are great. I get compliments all the time on mine. That being said, I think I have a partial set of white Gran Coupe panels. I'm pretty sure I have the rears but I doubt they are even driver quality. What you would be buying is the wood grain inserts. Give me your email and I'll post some pictures.

ok. had the day off. went out and looked. I also have a left back panel. don't have the right. new, but have been sitting around for god knows how long. brand name is Dashtop. ive never heard of them, but they don't look to bad.  I pulled the back panel out and it has the wiskers installed. no arm rests though.  i'm in south Dakota.

I agree with Mark, the lighter color panels didn't last at all. Go for new panels and pick up some insert trim.

I will go over and do that. I also have a 71 Cuda 340 4 speed curious yellow car. Owned for 30 years. Plus a 72 Tor-Red Barracuda 318 slapstick car I've owned for 20 years. Both #'s cars that are very nice. This Gran Coupe is quite the project. I'm actually going to change to black interior. It doesn't have its' original drive train. Presently a 1968 440 with 727. Lemon twist now but originally a gold with white VT and white leather car. Also a Chrysler exec car.

I have a Cuda with the gran coupe option.  Two things that where very hard to find and deal with was the roof console with map light.  The wood inserts.  I used old decent black door panels and redyed them.  Why?  The have the marks to put the holes for the tabs that keeps the trim in place.  If you find a set of trim be very careful with the tabs on the back they will break off very easily.  I have found them in two places.  Ebay or Carlisle.  Last year there where a few random pieces of trim here or there.  If the tabs on the back are broken you can epoxy the trim on.  I did that on one of my rear panels.

The map light is going to be the next thing you will have to find if you don't have it.  After years of searching I found an almost new one at Carlisle for 25.00.  If you want to pay serious money there are always ones on ebay,

I do have an overhead console if you looking for one.
