Looking for cores or NOS? I just pulled these cores from my 1974 project car.

Moparmade

Well would like NOS but good cores may have to do .
How good are your cores not to rusty and pited up and boar ok?

Thanks

I will send some further pics of the cylinders and their bores once I have a better look. Pitting on the cylinder body is evident but not terrible and can be seen in the pics. Two of the boots on the one cylinder are ripe at the metal base as can be seen in the pic.

Well after further investigation, found only one cup was moving freely. Managed to free the others up but there is considerable amount of rust in both bores where cups were seized. One bleeder valve and one mounting bolt are broken within their threaded mounting holes and could not be extracted. They are pretty much scrap.

Thanks for trying
They sound to far gone
Could be restored if you want to go that route and get them sleeved and all
Cleaned up and a new rebuild kit

anlauto

They can be sleeved :dunno: but not really worth it :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

No problem Moparmade. I have no interest in restoring them, was hoping they would be of some value to you, but too far gone.

Like a few members have suggested on this thread, I have purchased aftermarket brake cylinders and brake hardware for my project car.
