Does anyone know where I can find these instructions , this piece of paper? Or does anyone know the size of paper it is printed on? I'm look for a original one also for my car if anyone has one.  I don't know anything about this instruction card (paper), so any info would help. I just know it was in the trunk of the car. Thanks

Floyd

That's a clear sticker and available in repro.  I can't recall where I got mine, but I hoarded a few and can sell you one if you want.

Floyd, I made a correction to the pictures. I had the wrong ones up in the post. Sorry

that looks a page out of the engineering documents.  Do you think it was printed on paper or card stock? There are plenty of pdfs floating around on the web  (and maybe even here) that you could print from.  I'm sure someone will chime in with the measurements taken from original paper engineering docs.  I wonder if someone on the assembly line left a sheet in the car while being built.  i suppose the dealer could have left it there when prepping the car after delivery.

Are you thinking it was included along with the sticker as instructions for the dealer?

I'm wondering if it came in the trunk with the pipes also....

Floyd, I was told it was in the trunk with the exhaust tips from the assembly line. That's why there was a sticker on the passenger side windshield letting the dealership know the exhaust was in the trunk. This is all I know for now. I'm looking for a copy or a original one for my trunk. Like the mechanic forgot to remove it or throw it away after insulation of the exhaust tips.

I'm sure that would be a pretty rare piece with most originals getting tossed at the dealer once they PDI'd the car. :alan2cents:

I've got an original one that was in my owners manual. I did not know it was supposed to be thrown away.

Cool!  Can you post dimensions, pics, etc?

Looks like a page from the 1971 service manual. The 71 cuda and Challenger service manuals show the T/A exhaust installation.

I'll see if I can scan it when the kids leave. Doing the grandpa thing today. Lol!

I dug out my copies that were in my cars owners manual when I bought the car in 1976 from the second owner. I had two copies and both are in about the same shape. They were folded up in the owners manual. I'll post some copies but scanning and sending in an email would be better. The paper is 8 1/2" x 10 7/8".

Here's the copy ran through a photo copier.
