Anyone using or tried Rhino Ramps? Picked up a set at Home Depot $39.00
Read some reviews about them collapsing. Before I use these I would like
to know if anyone has any experience with plastic ramps.

They are rated to hold 3000 lbs. each so they say.

Wow 3,000 lbs I have never seen plastic ramps before .   Not here anyway , in Australia  . Good idea if they do the job interesting  :dunno:

I don't know if I'd trust those or not. I went with these.

Those Race Ramps are nice but not in my budget. After reading some reviews on the plastic ones collapsing
I may end up making a set out of wood and returning these.

I made wooden ones in High school ... heavy but held up!

I have a set of those rhino Ramps but I have not used them yet.
Would definitely use jackstands under the car if I crawled under .
I imagine they would twist a little bit if they weren't sitting exactly right more than probably steel ones .

I've had a set of the ramps like yours in regular use for a couple of years.  I've mainly used them for oil changes on passenger cars and my Ram 1500.   I don't think I'd put anything bigger than the Ram on them from a weight capacity standpoint.   The only issue I can recall having is when the rubber pads on the bottom didn't "bite" during cold weather when I tried to drive up on them.  The ramps slid forward a bit instead of staying put.

I wouldn't hesitate to use those.  In our sue happy society, if they are rated for 3000 lbs, I'd bet a paycheck they can really handle 4500 lbs.
No vendor would put out a life critical product without 50% margin.
I'm sure any reports of failure were a result improper use.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Thought about putting jack stands under there as an added protection but mine are to tall.
Maybe what i'll do is get the car up on the ramps and measure the height where the frame rail
is and make up a set of wooden blocks to take the place of the jack stands.

Maybe overkill but I don't like getting under a car unless I am completely sure it's not going to crash down on me.
Yea I know chicken sh*t...lol

Thanks again guys!

Those ramps look like widow-makers. Return them and save for race ramps. When I bought mine I couldn't believe I was spending what I was spending but 3 years later I still use the often and am very very happy with them. Well worth the money.

These Kwik-Lift ramps are pretty cool, but spendy...

Those are awesome but way out of my price range.  :(

I had the front end of my car supported by that exact type of ramp for 4 months. (Long winter here) I would trust them.

I've got a pair of the Race Ramps, been using them for changing the oil out of the 06 Charger since it sits so low. When in use I still put stands of some kind under the frame, just in case.
