Wheel Dollies Review

Picked up at Harbor Freight , Pittsburgh 1500 lb wheel dollies.
3/16" plate, 2 locking 3" casters for each, 2 freewheel casters, swivel pull/carry handle.
Had to laugh at the " acorn " nuts , it is actually just a cap stuck on a standard nut, hahaha.
Cost $57.
Will try on the '59 BelAir at 3900 lbs.

Look like the ones I have. Moves NIIKI around no problem. But she's way lighter than a 59 Belair

Got them under the 59 BelAir and very easily moved it about 2' sideways.
Did the job I wanted them to.
I was surprised how easily the car moved sideways, thought the casters would hang up, but they didn't.

Worst part was the RF , double row of motorcycles were blocking that side jack access, had to jack from under car so very little stroke room ,and the tire was flat, then crawl over the bikes to inflate the tire.

Those HF ones are fine if you aren't going to move very often and not very far.  And generally have someone to help.  I ended up selling mine and opting for these:

Way more expensive but work way easier.  I can move my '69 Roadrunner around by myself.  I will need these long term so worth the investment.

Hydraulic, those are nice!.
Does that mean you don't have to jack up the car ? Does the dolly slide around the tire then hydraulics will raise it up ?

Yes, attach around the tire and then you use the individual hydraulic jack to lift each tire off the ground.
