Hi guys, i hope you can help me.

i have a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE, numbers matching, and my fender tag and my broadcast sheet are missing.

i know this is very dificult to get, i have the name of the original owner of my car in the title. I am trying to reach her but i cant.

Is there any other way i can get information of how the fender tag or broadcast sheet were made? or maybe how can i find the original dealer to get a copy of the documents.

Thanks!

No way to retrieve information from the original dealers, that I know of.
there is truly no way to get a proper fender tag made without the build sheet.
Are you sure there is no chance of a build sheet anywhere in the car?

The dealer won't have the information to make a duplicate fender tag.  Sales invoice, window sticker, eh...maybe.   And that's if they even still have those 50 year old pieces of paper in a box up in the attic.

The factory will not have anything either.  I believe the story is that there was a fire and the information was destroyed.

Your only bet--if there is no build sheet then your only way will be to obtain the original fender tag from the previous owner that removed it, if they still have it.

I'll never understand why people removed them from the cars.  My car also does not have the fender tag or a build sheet.  I suspect whoever painted it orange removed the tag to do the color change, but then never put the tag back on because it would have been white and not match the new orange paint.   Then it likely went into the trash..

Have you completely searched the car as there are numerous places to find them? Hamtramck You might get lucky trying Historical, Mopar lost/found on FB or Moparts or other groups with registries etc.
