340 Connecting Rods

Is there value in original 340 Rods? From a 1970.
I also have the .030 over TRW pistons on them

Not sure if there is value in pre-used engine components other than Crankshafts.

I'd say yes, I needed a set of rods a few years ago and luckily we spotted a set on Sunday in Carlisle. Of course I looked all week there and didn't see them.

Thanks. That's what I would think...someone needs a few to finish off a set.
What are they worth? $200?

By the time you re-size them, clean/inspect and or mag them and then replace the bolts with decent new ones, you're so close to the $400 for a set of new ones with good bolts that paying much more than $75-100 would be going backwards and the chalk mark boys can't complain about something they'll never see. Just my  and GLWTS

I paid $50 for them with the pistons but I only used the rods. I only had a block and crank and was just putting together a basically stock engine.
