I have a friend that has too many projects to do. He wants me to sell his real v code 70 Challenger. The car has a daily driver paint job and is semi together. All the body, title and dash tag match. Has a repro fender tag because the original owner lost it. Also, no build sheet. The original color was burnt orange but the guy painted B7 blue and added a 4-speed hump.  Comes with a 7.25. No hood either. Basically your getting a complete car with a daily driver paint job and no drive train or hood. Car does come with a nice grill and buckets, glass, interior etc. Motor, Tranny and rear long gone.

Floors have been replaced - trunk floor has been replaced  - done in the early 90's not bad but not a perfect job.

What is a project car like this worth these days. Thanks Ken

Do you have any other pictures?  What's interior look like?

Man I'm thinking those fender tags or a build sheet would increase the value substantially.  I'm thinking maybe you can get quite a deal considering the fact that this information is missing.

The car comes with a complete interior but will need to be restored.

Side view. Car will come with just basic tires to move around.

I agree with somewhere in the low $20's ...just too much missing, changed or repaired poorly to have a high desirability with collectors . :alan2cents:  With that be said....you're way better off building this then a 318 rust bucket. :bigthumb:

I remember that car I looked at it years ago. Ken you might of even told me about it. I almost bought it but couldn't get over the missing fender tag and might of had too many cars at the time.

Culvers

Do you have pics of the VIN tag, door sticker, (fake) fender tag, body stampings on radiator support and cowl?

When I looked at it there was a hood, nice wheels and I believe it came with a drive train.

Yep , the guy wants to keep the hood and wheels. Engine that he had was not from the car. I will try to get picture of those body numbers and fender tag. So are folks saying like around 18,000 to start out with for a value.  The car would be a perfect project car for someone to start out with. Its not my car I'm just trying to help the guy out.

I think it'd be much better if he included the hood that is painted to match the rest of the car. It's not an original is it?

Convertcuda

Good idea I will talk the guy. If he lets the hood go what you thing it will bring. Yes repro hood.
