I think it was originally a B5 car.

Maybe I wrong, but doesnt this seem reasonably priced?  I still look for a Cuda even though I have no intention of buying one.  Does anyone else have that illness?

I look all the time too!   :bigthumb:

Why change a B5 Blue 4 speed AAR?  That is a great color!!!  Don't get me wrong, FJ5 is a great color too, but why make that change on a car like that?  And yes, the price seems really good.

I think the color change knocks a good chuck of change off this car.  I start to wonder what else they changed... :notsure:

Yeah, I think my advice would be WAIT to anyone whose new to buying a car to restore.  They come up. I waited 6 months, felt like 10 years.

It is odd to change a beautiful color on an AAR.  Kind of having a little regret not waiting for this one.  But I bought what I could afford at the time.  I was told to buy the best car for the money I had and I did.  Just maybe could of waited a few more years.

It's a balance of waiting for the right car, but then you miss out on all that time driving a cool Mopar.  The worst car for me to buy is an all original numbers matching blah blah blah car.  I could not make it mine. I am stuck in a corner and would be almost afraid to drive.  I love all Mopars, including all originals, but I like tweak and changing them to my personal liking.

Even worse I'm a Gemini and am constantly changing my mind.   :crazytalk: :looney: :drunk:

I like them ALL

I wish I had big shop and I would attempt to start hoarding.  I say attempt as my wife is cool, but not that cool.

Neat driver. It would drive me nuts though and up here a colour change is $20k for an AAR quality job, then all the other things that you would have to freshen up. A good car for someone that wouldn't be bothered by the change though.

This AAR has issues. The one that strikes me the most is how much rust this one has? Heck the turn indicator is rusted along with gauge screws are as well. If you look at the paint close up it wasn't that good of a job. Rallye rims need work plus the trim rings look wrong. The carpet needs to be replaced, rust under the data plate, etc.

This one would need alot of work to look right along with the color change.

I would call this an entry level AAR for the novice collector.

There's a reason why properly restored AAR's fetch almost six figures and this one is only $57K  :alan2cents:

Seller seems like a major seller.  Im sure the price is not a mistake.  Would be a cool driver that you don't have to be all uptight about.  Just sounds funny though...yeah my cars a driver...it was only 60 grand.

I am sap prized no one noticed the dash cluster, it has A seat belt warning lamp in it. but the reset knobs are in the right place.

RUNCHARGER

Ha, ha. I noticed the scratches and moved on.

I think it is a bit overpriced for being non-numbers, incorrect color, aftermarket hood, master cylinder and who knows what else.  I would assume that it is mostly collectors that are snapping these cars up as investments and in order to bring the money, they have to be pretty much correct or restored.  It is a 4-speed which helps a bunch.  Restored cars with some issues were bringing mid 70's at Mecum today.  One was a matching numbers 4-speed.  I am thinking low to mid 40's for this car.

RUNCHARGER

I agree, I would max out in the high thirties but someone will buy it that isn't bothered by the things that bug me I'm sure. And I suppose they'll have the fun of driving it and I won't.

Lots of issues, most already mentioned but not the 71 & up trunk floor.... With a walk around I'm sure the list would get much longer, lets just say I get the impression the camera wasn't capturing all the details...
