There was a restored Barracuda cloned to a Cuda that went up last week.  It was done to a high standard.  A 440 and 4 speed with the Shaker hood all added and painted Orange.  It went for an unbelievable $75,000 with no buyers premium.  It can still be viewed on Auction zip in Kutztown, PA.  Is this a worthy value?  It was listed as your chance to buy a great clone in some words.  The buyer must not of realized or was unaware what he was buying or the excitement got to him.  What do you think?

You see some crazy stuff go on at auctions sometimes.  Cars going for far more than they are worth one day, nice cars bidding way below worth the next.
You should be able to find a nice U code cuda 4 speed in the 50s, and that would give you lots of money left over to add a shaker hood and still be under 75K if that's what excites you.
I have a friend who recently advertised his Challenger R/T SE hemi 4 speed that was born an N code, not sure the politically correct term for it is, as I was chastised here for calling it a clone, for $62,500 and I couldn't get any interest advertising my V code 71 4 speed STP Challenger hoping to get low 70s, for some perspectives on values, though I know cudas tend to sell a little higher than Challengers.
