Mr Cuda

You know how to find them.
Bird droppings are extra.
It's going to need paint and who knows how  corroded things are.

And another set of pictures.

Floor looks solid but will need quarters, extensions and I`m sure a trunk floor. Looks to be fairly original, auto but GA4 is a cool color, numbers matching or not? `70 models in worse condition get $8-10k so I would think a bit less than that, maybe $5-8k?

That's the realm I was thinking.

Funny that this Cuda is worth about the same as an imperial he has.

I do love this site, BUT,  2 comments?

Is there any traffic here?   No one likes to talk?

I have a thread on C bodies about an imperial and got more feedback in an hour.
Not to mention several other threads about a car hoard I just got invited to.

300 cars plus, and there is one cuda.  No one wants to discuss.
I have another yard of 500 that I am going to in the next week or two, saw a few pictures.
Found a yard today while looking at a station wagon that has 400 cars, have not seen it yet.

In the next few weeks I am going to look through at least 1000 vehicles.
Not to mention I am about to go down to texas tomorrow to go get a sport fury gt and an s23.

I guess I'll go over to FEBO and post a thread over there about this cuda.  Maybe I can get some feedback over there.

All these cars becoming available signifies that something is about to happen.  At the inflation rate right now and the banks failing and the housing market warning that it is about to bust we are about to head into a depression and people are offing cars by the dozens.

That means there are opportunities and I will be around to find them.   Go over on FABO, FEBO, FBBO, and FCBO to see the pictures of each yard once I get into them.

They don't have a WIW on those sites so they are just "discussions".  If yal wanna look and talk about cars anyway... :bricks: :Thud:

For me, the thing is all about location...you guys with your $5K-$8K estimates must be completely spoiled, and able to find Cuda growing on trees or something.....because a car that complete and that rust free is easily worth three times that amount around here. $15K all day

That's what I was wondering. The spread.

In 23 years of looking for cuda's I have literally found 2 cuda barn finds.  This is the second.
The other I had to drive to New York to get and I only ended up with it cause a good friend died.

There are no cuda's around here.  Denver maybe, but city folk demand higher prices.

Somewhere in the 8-15K range.

A 1973 Cuda came up for sale on Craigslist and Marketplace the STL area a month ago. Also GA4, but fewer options, non-AC and 318. Every panel need replacement or rust repair. It was listed for $6500 and was gone in a few days.
A car with these options and sheet metal in this condition, to a rust-belt Mid-Westerner with limited welding skills like me, is worth $10,000 all-day long.

I would think it would bring $5000.00 to 7500.00, No matter what you are working on, the restoration on an E-Body as you know will not be cheep. but the round taillight cuda's are coming up in value.  :bigmoney:

Mr Cuda

There are no Cuda 's anywhere?
There are no cuda deals anywhere is more like it.
I bought my last one in 2000.  Since then they  all needed  massive panel replacement.
So buy this,  clean it up, and... flip or fix

Can't argue with your range, as a buyer I'd want to get it for 8 and as a seller I'd want to ask 16-18 for it and maybe get 14-15. Back here in the northeast a dry car like that would likely sell at the high end of the range. I doubt 8 or 9 would buy it.

So you can get dry, complete, nicely optioned 340 Cudas for $5000 - $7500 must be nice living where you do... :worship:

in 72, that 340 was the only "performance" motor available, That car appears to have all its original A/C, the under hood area looks intact.  THAT is super hard to find. 72 still had the same chrome bumpers are 1971, none of those huge, ugly bumper guards as in 73 and 74.  72's, other than the motors, are 71's with the non recessed side markers and round tail lights. If I had my druthers, 1972 is the only year of the 72-74 years that I would want. A V21 option on that car would look awesome. Something unique to 1972.
Does that help?
