Have the old original door panels for my 72...they were blue, but had been dyed black and were chaly, grain gone, the "hang points" as I recall were cracking and almost gone.... etc....worked well enough til I got repops....

I am cleaning stuff out and wondering if these are worth anything to anyone considering the availability of good repops now?

I threw out 4 sets like that two years ago. I would say they are not worth advertising.

I would agree.

I have a set like that from one of my cars and I have been holding onto it only to see if they could be utilized with a custom interior. Kind of a crazy thought which most likely I will abandon but as one of my 70 Challengers comes back together, I have been toying with the idea of letting this upholstery guy I know attempt some wild custom look using a set of crappy but functional panels as a base. I saw a dash pad and door panels from another classic car which he wrapped in red and black leather and it looked pretty awesome. No point using expensive new panels for that. I don't see much in the way of custom E body interiors other than the occasional million dollar SEMA car.

Aside from something like that, doubtful anyone would want them.

Strip the clips, metal retainers, any other usable parts off of them and then set them on fire to annoy your neighbours  :alan2cents:

Thanks guys.

It was tough to let them go...I'm a pack rat by nature.

But had to make room for parts for my son's car. LOL
