Question for you American guys...talking in USD currency....

What would an AAR project be worth...

Fairly solid car, in definite need of a restoration
MISSING motor/air cleaner to oil pan Altogether...
MISSING Broadcast sheet
STILL HAS ORIGINAL:
tags
FOUR SPEED transmission
orange EK2 or EV2 ? not sure

What's the going rate ?

NOM hurts value, 4-speed helps, orange sort of helps. No big deal on the BS. I'd say $55- $60k after a nice restoration.

Need to buy the project at $20k or under. Otherwise, there is probably no money in it after you spend $50k on a restoration.  :alan2cents:

depends upon what your definition of fairly is.
As described, I'd say $25 to 30 K.
If it were mine, I wouldn't let it go for less than $25k.  If I was buying it, I probably wouldn't pay more than $30k.

Two cents only,

Thanks for the input, please keep the comments coming....I'm just trying to help out an acquaintance of mine who stumbled across a package deal on three similar cars...They are asking roughly what you guys are saying $25K-$30K each...

I can't see that much. Complete engine, carbs, manifolds, aircleaner is going to cost a bunch like $20-25K? So, you could be at $50k before turning a wrench and it'll never be matching.

I would think any fairly solid 4 speed AAR a deal at $20k, 25-30k sounds about right but missing BS and non-numbers I`d want to be closer to $25k.

I couldn't see paying over $20k. There's no drive train. A complete AAR engine, manifolds, air cleaner and some 4 speed stuff is going to cost at least $12-15k just for cores if you are very lucky.

Somebody found 3 -  THREE - AAR projects.  Wow that would be a find.  Lots of money but a package deal on all three, sell two to help off set the purchase price of the one you want the most!

Man that would be a dream find for me!

I thought saw a post on Moparts talking about this package. I just went back and could not find it.  Someone (I think Barry) jumped in and made a few comments about a questionable history regarding the numbers/tags on the cars.  :notsure:

Let me guess, the three car package deal floating around with bad fender tags on all of them.

Possibly so...My friend went and looked at them, the reproduction fender tags were made from rusty originals presumably....but that's the least of your worries...All three cars turned out to be rust buckets, each needing a ton of metal work... :o

Quebec is not the first place I would look for a Mopar, I'll tell you that.
