Are used Six Pack setups needing cleaned and probably rebuilt really bringing this much?

I've been thinking of getting one of my complete Six Pack setup out of storage to sell.

Most my stuff is new in boxes, not original stuff, mostly from the 80's and 90's.

I think this is the top end for pricing.  I've seen a few in the last few weeks in the 2500 range complete, needing cleaning with exception of the lid.

Ebay prices are always higher than any other source.

If you're a "Star Crossed Moon Gazer" maybe... :haha: :haha:

I know 440 intakes have been on back order for a long time....I guess maybe if someone was desperate  :dunno:

Asking price and a price a item will actually sell for can sometimes be far apart.

To answer your original question, no. Since I bought out Bill Overcash and have been restoring a few carbs, I've watched prices regularly. There are lots of dreamers on eBay. Later issue carbs don't bring that much as the auction listed. A set of new ones with a manifold sold on for b bodies only for less than $2600 and it look a long time. The grungy one you see was very rough and rusty/corroded. It had all the parts there. I can't remember what the intake was but the carbs were the very earliest you could get for a 70 model. 1709. That's why they brought that kind of money. Someone really needed early dates and they were a set of three. I bet they were disappointed when they showed up. I've got several sets of my own that I have sold and restored. I get anywhere from $2500 to $2950 depending on the application and date code. I'm like anyone else right now, though. I'm behind trying to get parts and plating work dome on my cores. I've got several sets already sold, just waiting on someone else.
