:wrenching:    It is a 1971 'Cuda with most of it's parts. The body shell is a bit rough for sitting near the bay for the last few years. It is a 383 car with a shaker hood and those parts are in great shape since most of the parts were stored inside. The parts are the original ones and it also has the original blue on it. It used to be an automatic, but was converted to a 4 spd. The car was dismantled to do a total resto but the owner died before he could finish the project. Life just doesn't always work out the way we plan. Anyway, I am looking for a value to start with in order to find the car a new home.     Thanks in advance for the input.

Can you post some pictures that would be helpful

The important thing with the value of these cars is documentation, otherwise it's worth the value of the parts.

Do you have:
The dash VIN with title?
The fender tag?
The Broadcast Sheet?
The numbers matching motor/transmission?

All these things affect value......
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I'd give you $10K for it if you were closer, or if you want to include free delivery to Buffalo NY :)

Sounds like ,None of the above! :Thud:
Hope someone buys it and restores it, But I cant image that happening. Not many people want to sink 100k into a car that at the very least have the dash vin and fender tag!  :alan2cents:

Is there a title for the car?   Even without the vin tag a title would help.

No fender tag
no build sheet
no motor/tranny
been stripped.

Those parts that are original to the car are pretty cool.

I'm still at 3000.00 .  Maybe 3500.00 if someone wants the sheet metal of the car.
Now I don't know what the other parts are for the car that you have.  I'm going to say another 1000.00 for the rest of the car
But to tow the car it's already above 1000.00 to go anywhere.  so realistically 2000 to 2500 shipping/handling.

Shipping hurts.  6500 for a car without any Documentation.   tough sell.
  .
I'm probably low balling it.  But that is if you said you would sell it to me today.  If you hold onto it for a few months, I might raise my conceived price of said parts while it rests on my brain.

I'm always low.  This is why I asked on the other thread if that value was 3000.    So what is the value of those parts then?  You know your parts, value please...

Do you think 10,000.  for what is there is a fair price.    Even with no title.  ??

do you know how long the car has been off the road? I'm thinking the vin and fender tag are on another car driving around right now.

I don't know how to attach the other thread, but that was "Poor Lost Cuda". There are some pictures of the hull, there. The title is in the works and a new I.D. plate & fender tag are obtainable. The 383 block # matches the car (cowl & door sticker). I don't know when the last time it was on the road. I'd like to think that the I.D. plate & fender tag were stashed away with the title, but the owner died before the project could even get off the ground. Consequently, no idea where they could be. Although, when I had the V.I.N. run by the state police, it did not show up in any of the 50 states.
