WIW 1970 4 speed transmission

Thinking of selling some parts.

I have a 4 speed transmission I took out of a 1970 340 'Cuda many years ago.

It has been stored in the garage ever since.

Could use a good cleaning and checked out but worked fine when removed.

What are these bringing these days?

Also have a small block bell housing that came out of a different, newer car, part number 3515734

I would say $400-$500 for a transmission $100 for the bell housing ?

I would agree with above with the exception of this. 
If someone is looking for that specific month it would be worth a few hundred more just to complete a dated drive train.
You might want to list it as such.  Date makes the difference.

The last two 340 bellhousings like that one that I really didn't want to sell, they just kept upping the offer and I finally took $250.00 each.
These parts are drying up and if you put that tranny out for $500.00 stating in working condition, I wouldn't think it would last an hour.
Just my opinion.

I'm starting to agree

I did some looking around at used bell housing and 4 speeds at Brewers.

Rebuilt 23 spline E body 4 speeds are selling for $1750

Brewers is getting $350 for the same bell housing when the have them in stock

I had this heavy 11" 1968 only bell sitting on top of the small block one..... not in stock at Brewers, time to get ride of some stuff

I bought one not too long ago from a 70 340 cuda and I paid $500 for it.  There was a line of people waiting to see if I passed on it so it will go quickly for that price.

I do need a bellhousing if you have one!

To expand on this question, I need some information for an insurance claim. I have a transmission out of an AAR, which means it has a 70 VIN stamp but it's a close ratio transmission, which only came in AARs and TAs.
Think that would make a difference in the price?  Or would it only matter to the person who has the matching number AAR?
