I was wondering if anyone out there was doing a restoration
Service on theses ???
  Thanks

Mr Cuda

I'm sure someone is charging money to do something.
Maybe you should start in, and make a  thread.

I have several extras that i was going to sell, and here are my observations
The 71 up have a better "plating"  or metal etch finish than 70 only type.
It seems all 70 pedal assy have a fair amount of rust. All my 71 up assembly's look like with a good cleaning they'd be mint.
Your picture brightness leaves condition hard to judge.
Finding a new rivet so you can remove and straighten the pedal release,  and clean.
Maybe vinegar,  or everyone's fave evaporust.

I had https://www.sms-auto.com/ do mine over 10 years ago. Not sure if they are still in the game anymore or not. Thought they did pretty good work.

Moparmade

Thanks for the info I'll have to check out sms.
Its not to bad maybe tackle it like mr cuda says
Dip it in evaporust

Mr Cuda

All of mine have a bright metal finish,  that has a thin film, of not oil, but almost a cosmoline type finish.
All have a bent release lever,  but that can be straightened.
I'll post some pictures,  how about a better one of yours?
The 70 type were bare also,  and didn't have the metal protection that the 71 up have.
When they rust, they really get  crusty.

The kit from Classic 199-DR056A gets you 2 new springs  and a rubber gromet for the arm to go thru(not a fan of it but it does work) The rivet P/N E3-12-ST Steel rivet Zinc finish and is sourced from Amazon comes from Hanson rivet and you have to buy 100. You'll need something to set the rivet again Amazon but comes from Hanson P/N HT-171. If you don't have the clevis pin its Mc Master Carr P/N 92735A169.
Grainger has some nylon shoulder washer P/N 4DCE8 and 4DCJ9 that work to hold the arm and spring in place. On a 70 the hole for the rod to go thru has 2 different sizes

Mr Cuda

Wow, that just made things easier.    @Ns1aar

Mine don't need much, but the part numbers might help.  We have an industrial parts vendor who sells in small quantities.    Like the rivet.  Got the bucking equipment already.

They were  a great company who restored parts for me long before there were reproductions for Mopars. Glad to see they are still around. I bet they now just concentrate on parts that are still not reproduced and/or for more obscure cars.
