Are these my original 1970 calipers and p-valves?

@ 6bblgt, should both the right and left calipers have the same KH80012 part number?  If so, I apparently have one correct and one incorrect caliper for my 70.  Probably just luck of the draw, as I'm fairly certain that both of them were rebuilds from NAPA 20 or so years ago.

yes, 1970 would be a KH80012 casting both sides, just machined different for LH VS. RH

correct, luck of the draw - in the past I've heard of people ordering 3 or 4 sets of rebuilds from a parts store keeping the KH80012s (or hoping for) & returning the remainder

I treated all of my bare metal items with RPM (rust prevention magic).  Warm up the part and the RPM and brush on.  Easy enough to do.  My items have not rusted over the past 6-7 years. 
  It is easy to find on the net.
