Brake Balance Bar Question?

Rebuilt my rear brakes; probably last did the shoes only in 1980.

Question: the balance bars on left and right side (slotted flat side and curved slotted side) mine are different then the pictures I have seen on other mopar brake rebuilds. The bars on other rebuilds, the curved part appears to be a little more longer/extended.

On both the left and right side, the curved end of the bar w spring is short (about 3/4 in bend)
Other rear brakes I have seen, the bend part of the bar extends a little further.

My left side rear; curved side w spring points down on the shoe.
My right side rear; curved side w spring points up on the shoe

On other rebuilds, the bars always appear to point down on the shoe on both sides.

My car is an early October 1969 build. Owned the car since 1979 and date codes on the my balance bars are both from 1969, I would think they are original!

What gives?

The difference in the curved up part is between 11" brakes and 10" brakes. It's also correct for them to be pointing in opposite directions when mounted

I have front disc w 10" rear drum brakes, so the brake bars facing opposite up/down are correct.
Date codes on them were both from 1969, so I thought they were originals.

Spoke to a fellow e-body enthusiast who has a good handle on the parking brake strut bar applications as per the factory parts book;

- The 1970 e-body with front disc and 10" rear drum brakes used part #2409823 on both left and ride side rear brakes.

- 1970 cars with 11" rear drum brakes used two different strut bars; 2533892 and 2533893. These were larger then the 10" brakes strut bars.

- 1971 cars with 10" or 11" brakes take the same strut, with left and right part numbers 3580750 and 3580751

He is also checking a dana-rear axle with 10' brakes to see what application was used.

The information matches what I found on my 1970 A66 Challenger vert with the 823 bars used on both sides with the same September, 1969 date code and part number on both.
