What differentiates a drum brake hose from a disc brake hose other than the part number?  Is it length?  Is the threaded end different?  Are the internal dimensions different?

I see some of the aftermarket disc brake hoses are double crimped: https://www.inlinetube.com/products/h017 and the drum brake hoses are single crimped: https://www.inlinetube.com/products/h622.

I thought the original disc brake hoses were single crimped and were marked with either a red or white strip?  Please correct me if I'm wrong?

TIA.

The end at the caliper or wheel cylinder is completely different

I realized today I should have provided more detail in my original education request.  A few days after my original post, I did some hands on research.  I learned the Kelsey Hayes KH80012 and KH86166 disc brake calipers have 7/16 thread for the brake hose (I used a 7/16 NF20 tap to clean the threads).  I was surprised to find a front drum wheel cylinder (casting 2881631,  I think 1968, 1969 applications) also has a 7/16 thread for the brake hose. I used the same 7/16 NF20 tap to clean the threads.

So then, at least in this example, the threads on the brake hoses are the same between drum and disc regarding size/length/pitch.  I'm not sure if my findings would remain the same if I were to buy newer aftermarket calipers/hoses, etc.
