He also deleted the tinted glass on the car as well G21  :looney:

must be having a tough day, Alan

he did not DELETE the OPTIONAL "tinted glass" - it is NOT STANDARD or INCLUDED with A/C, simply "recommended"
...... but to insure there was NO mistake in the order, Chrysler specified that you  must code G21 if clear glass was desired with A/C

there is NO 15" WHEEL OPTION!!! :pullinghair:

15" WHEEL was NOT an ORDERABLE OPTION on a non-HEMI E-body w/o first paying for the 15" TIRES

So there was no "wheel" option only a "tire" option....So does that mean they only gave you tires but no rims ?

It would seem to me that if you ordered U82 the 15" tire option....you would in a sense be ordering a 15" wheel, therefore making your above statement confusing to some  :looney:

I'm right there with you and call it Radio Delete all the time.  Seems that the term used for it in the industry.  But since Radios were an option, it's really not deleted....  just an option that was not ordered.   :alan2cents:  But I'll probably always call it radio delete anyway.   8)

I factory ordered a '70 'Cuda in Oct of 1969.  383 Magnum with 4-speed and 3:55 SG rear.  Knowing I was going to put mags on it, I ordered the E60X15 Goodyear Polyglas tires on steelie wheels and it came with dog dish hubcaps.  Soon as the mags were installed the steelies and hub caps went into the dumpster.   :pullinghair:
Also ordered A/C and I clearly remember that the tinted windshield was an option which I did order.  Like many of us, sold the car three years later and have regretted it every since.

Interesting that our 1970 'cuda 340 has W23 14" and it's not even shown as an option.

14x5.5" W23 "Road Wheels" (Optional) are in the book for 1970 Cuda.

14x6.0" painted body color w/hub caps STANDARD
14x5.5" W21 "Rallye Wheels" OPTIONAL
14x5.5" W23 "Road Wheels" OPTIONAL
15x7.0" painted body color w/hub caps STANDARD w/OPTIONAL U82 E60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires
15x7.0" W21 "Rallye Wheels" OPTIONAL w/OPTIONAL U82 E60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires

I'm looking for the back spacing measurement for each of these wheels.
I think it's 4.25 inches for the 15x7 Rallye.

I'm also interested in the back spacing for a 15 x 6.5 Rallye wheel, which was introduced around 1972 on other cars, because it's not unusual to see these swapped onto E bodies.

I'm trying to calculate the offset of factory wheels, to know if changing factory wheels would change your track width any.

For example, a 15 x 7 rallye has a wheel width of 7, and an overall wheel width of 8.
This means that the wheel centerline is at 4 inches.
If the back spacing is 4.25 inches, then the wheel has narrowed the track of the car by .25 inches on each side of the car.
This affects the motion ratio of how the leaf springs function for handling.
I'm putting together a handling article, to be posted here on the forum, and wanted to include this info.

Looks like the 15 x 7 Rallye & Steel both have 4.25 back spacing.
Still need the others.
