Hello, ;)

Still having a problem with my car, your experience would be useful to me.

A leak has occurred in the master cylinder and brake booster assembly.

For a short time, the brake pedal had become softer while the entire circuit had been purged. :dunno:

When I look at the pieces on different WEB site (SUMMIT, Doctor Diff, etc). I find several models for E-BODY 70.

On my car, there are disc brakes in the front with a big piston and drums in the back.

Could you advise me the most suitable model.

Should I take a model in 1/8 "bore or 1/32" bore ? :clueless:

Some pictures of the model installed on my Cuda.

Did you try local auto parts store?  or Rockauto.com.  They do list front disc with drum in the rear.  Centric or Raybestos.  Oreillys, Autozone, or NAPA should have what you need.

Yes I found several models in several sellers but which would be the most adapted to my car.

That's the question I'm asking myself

He is in France so the local parts shop probably won't know what to do. I think it would be best to properly identify which master cylinder you have and get a seal kit for it. Master cylinders are very simple in design and easy to repair, it sounds like the rear seal is leaking allowing brake fluid to come out. Most of the time the rubber seals are all that's needed. There should be a casting number on it (usually underneath) if it is the original 1970 E body disc brake master cylinder they are very valuable (even in very poor condition) and worth repairing.

Is it just leaking from the top seal?  I've had that happen to me in the past and I made a double seal myself that doubled the outside area only and it fixed it.

If you are not going to rebuild it & save it I would be interested in the core

To rebuild it, I would have to know the make and model.

But I do not know what it is

MP if you want about your question  ;)

I do not want to tinker because the day I sell the car I do not want to have problems with the new owner.

In France we have to pass the car to the technical control, it becomes more and more difficult to obtain without reserves.

More and more points are checked. :wrenching:

At the point where I am, this car becomes a real money pit since my purchase. :takemymoney: :takemymoney: :takemymoney:

I prefer to put only new equipment.

Check the underside with a mirror and see if you can see the numbers to identify the master cylinder then you can order the correct parts.

I agree  Pullt measure the bore & buy a seal kit , why spend $500 when you can fix it for $25
