I've ordered several springs from ESPO, great quality and service.  I would highly recommend +1" max.

No experiance with them but many of us on here have used ESPO leaf springs. http://www.springsnthings.com/

They also make them in plus stock heights.

ESPO is the link I posted.

Although the original springs on our Cuda appear to be in good shape I have been eyeballing a pair of replacements from ESPO for our restoration.  Their springs only come painted black and best I can tell the originals were not painted from the factory.  Is there a paint or coating that could be applied to them if I stripped them that closely matches the bare originals?  Or did some come factory painted and some not?   How about the (bare metal) U-bolts... a coating?

:wrenching:

you could do a phosphate coating

Mrbill426

Like POR-15 Metal Ready?
Did any come from the assembly line with painted leaf springs?

I have coated bolts in Phosphate it is just a dark grey film , prevents rusting , I believe they were coated as they don't usually end up covered in rust

I purchased McVeigh's springs from Ebay. They are +2 inch over stock with 6 leaves. I noticed a huge change in height although my car was using the original 318 5-leaf springs for all these years... Tire is 255/60R15 on 15x7 inch wheel

looks like 2" makes a big difference.
