Our brake lines are leaking where they connect to the calipers.  It looks like there might be something missing from the caliper.  The end of the line is concave like a flared fitting would be.  However, there is no matching brass male portion for the hose end to seat against and seal. I bought these calipers a couple years ago from rock auto.  The car was front drum, so we converted to front disc using parts for a 73.  Please confirm that I am missing the male part for the caliper, or tell me what else might be my problem.  The first attached pic is the inside of the fitting on the caliper.

Thank you.  I was thinking of the copper washer, but the surface of the caliper where the washer would seat is not a smooth machined surface, so I did not think a washer would be adequate.  I will get the appropriate copper washers.

Copper is a soft metal and will conform to irregular surfaces. You could also smooth the surface of the caliper slightly with a file or sanding device. Just be sure to keep the filings out of the threaded area.
