I'm in the process of upgrading my braking system the Hydro-boost (link below) and wanted to include a line lock while I'm at it.

What type of line locks are best?

Is yours installed after the combination valve or between the MS and the combination valve?

Did you install a safety switch to prevent unplanned line lock actuations?

Where did you install the line lock switch (aka smoke button)?

Thanks everyone!

I installed a TCI roll stop kit back in 1996 when I was racing in street class. The solenoid is installed between the master cylinder and combination valve. It's activated by a momentary switch mounted in the console.

@mopar jack - Did the TCI unit have 2 outlets or did you need to put a Tee inline?

valve has 1 inlet and 1 outlet. No tee required since it's the supply line to the combination valve before it splits to each front brake.

Hurst Roll Control, I made a bracket that uses the master cylinder bolts and put in a tee.

Thanks @torredcuda. I've seen several installations now. Some installed the solenoid between the Master and Comb valve. Some after the combo valve. I'll make that decision once I see how the hydro-boost setup goes together with the new combo valve (mine is rusted shut).

I'm leaning towards a kit with 2 outlets because 2 outlets provide flexibility for the install.

Update: I purchased these items but have not installed them yet. Still waiting for my Hydro Boost kit to arrive. I decided to add the stoplight pressure switch to the installation after reading a bunch of posts and the installation manual from Hurst. More to follow...
