I wasn't sure how to search for previous information on this, so I'll just ask. The LCA's on my 70 RT are perfectly clean and powder coated by the previous project owner, but they're gray instead of the silver with cosmolene dip looking golden color. I'd really like to try this. Anyone out there with info? Paint formulas? Techniques? I seem to remember avatar_Cuda Cody @Cuda Cody having done this as well, but I'm not sure where post or pics are. I'm building out my restored K Frame and components. Any help appreciated. Stolen pic for example.

I think Resto Rick sell the real Cosmoline and a paint that matches it.

Yup - I powdercoated mine and then used RestoRick's quasi-molene in a Preval sprayer.
