Parking / Emergency Brake Cable Question

Hey guys,

Can someone tell me if the parking brake cable goes above or below the exhaust on a 71 Challenger?  Thanks

The e-brakes on ebodies always seemed like they were the design results from a four year old to me. Were e-brake systems on other cars/brands of the era similar?

Pretty much. Nothing wrong with the system, if you want a bad E-brake try an older Corvette. My 79 Corvette was pretty much ineffective at all, no chance of doing a handbrake turn with that car.

Here's the E-Brake Cable routing for a Cuda, I would think Challenger would be pretty much the same.
