Trying to identify the manufacturer of this pump. I removed this power steering pump from a late build 71 Barracuda that had a small block v8. It was also an a/c car.  Not sure if it's original to this car. The body of the pump looks to be manufactured by Saginaw, but not exactly sure.  I've yet to clean it up so no markings for now.  I measured the pulley and its 6 7/8" diameter.  I think the big block pulleys had the 3 spoke?  The brackets and the nut on the pulley made me think its a Saginaw.  Also the cap has the markings on the Cap:  "Fill to Proper Level" ,"Do not overfill", and "Use Approved Fluid".

That's a Saganaw.  Looks like it has a bolt-on pulley.  That's good.  The pressed on pulleys are a PITA.  Same pump and reservour used on my 73 Challenger.  The later Saginaws had a differently shaped reservour.

Saginaw setup for small block with 1970 and up aluminum water pump.

So at least 70-73 small block.

Not all had Saginaw pumps. Usually 70-73 3.55 or 3.91 gear 340 cars had Federal pumps.

The Saginaw is a better unit and easier to find parts for than the Federal.
