Hey guys,

My son has a 2007 jeep liberty with 120,000 miles on it.  I have 2 son's one got the car gene and the other didn't.   :)  He's a great kid.  he's 26 and a public middle school teacher.  The other is currently in college and I'm very proud of both.  Hey they all can't be car guys.

Anyway as long as it starts and goes he's good.  He called explaining about this squeak he has when the car is moving, not when he's braking.  Well I knew it was the tang on the pads hitting the rotors.  I told him to go get new rotors, and pads and the anti rattle clips which he did and I replaced everything for him with no issues.  The pads were down to the metal backing.  So that was definitely one issue.

He left and then I  heard another squeak.  I hopped in his car and we go around the block and when he turns left it squeaks.  Really loud.  I'm thinking it's one of the wheel bearings.  What do you guys think.

Thanks
Dave

Sounds like you are on to it.  Bad bearings can change sound as the weight is moved around.  So turning left might load the bad bearing up and maybe causing the sound?
